Live Weather

The aerial photograph was taken in the Summer of 2001 - we think in late July or August. The shadows suggest it was around 0900. Due North runs from our house through St Mary's Church Tower - in other words our back garden faces almost due South.

The Church Tower Bell ringers are 'keen' and very energetic! The park is used all year round for almost any out of door activity having tennis courts, bowls green and football pitch. In July the 'Cow Town' Mardi Gras takes place over one whole weekend - a posh Glastonbury festival but FREE at the time of writing. The main purpose is to collect for local charities.

Local shops and pubs are located in the cluster of buildings immediately to the left of St Mary's Church Tower so not far to walk although the photograph does 'flatten' the hills somewhat... and has been compressed to speed download!
